Michael said hello to Putri for the first time in 2017 at a charity event. He was loading boxes of donations, while she came to set up her guitar. They spent years together in a youth community called Panen in service.

The so called friendship amplified when the pandemic hits, where they spent Saturdays teaching Sunday School together, followed by multiple rounds of Genshin Impact and morning walks.

One lazy afternoon, Putri decided to come over to Michael's house. She simply wanted to meet Kopi (the black floof on pictures above) but Michael was a little too happy about the visit and developed butterflies.

After many calls, 30 rosaries, and 1 Bali trip later, Michael decided to come forth with his feelings. Despite the ensuing drama and an initial rejection from Putri, they started their journey after Michael got invited to Putri's CNY family dinner.

Finally, on March 2023, Michael took Putri out on a self photo studio date. He whipped out a golden ring, and got down on one knee, took Putri by surprise, and now they're on their way to the church aisle!
